TEST PRESENTATION
Hemoglobin electrophoresis is a well-established technique routinely used in clinical laboratories to screen samples for hemoglobinopathies (hemoglobin variants and thalassemias).
The MINICAP HEMOGLOBIN(E) kit enables, on MINICAP instruments, the efficient separation of hemoglobin fractions and detection of a large number of hemoglobin variants and thalassemias patterns.
MINICAP instruments perform all sequences automatically, from sampling to the final clear-cut profile, with precise quantification and presumptive identification of the most common hemoglobins.
MINICAP instruments allow high resolution separation of the major hemoglobin variants (Hb S, Hb C, Hb D and Hb E) and accurate quantification of the Hb A2 and Hb F.
Hb H and Hb Bart’s, as seen in alpha-thalassemia are clearly separated and easily quantified.
The MINICAP HEMOGLOBIN(E) kit allows hemoglobin analysis on adult samples.
